Still posting just to post? 🤷‍♀️

Apr 07, 2025

I once had a client who was posting on social media like their life depended on it.

Every. Single. Day.

They had Canva graphics coming out their ears, motivational quotes, fun facts, event promos… even a “Happy International Avocado Day” post (or something similar!).

From the outside? It looked like they were nailing it.

But behind the scenes?

🌀 They were burnt out.

📉 Engagement was tanking.

😵‍💫 And no one had any idea what was actually working.

They were in what I call content chaos—aka, posting just to tick a box.

And here’s the kicker: That kind of content doesn’t convert.
It doesn’t build trust.
And it definitely doesn’t bring in volunteers, donors or new program sign-ups.

Why? Because it’s not tied to strategy.

When your posts are random, your results are random.

So let me ask you this—
👉 Are you creating content that’s aligned to a plan…
Or are you just throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks?

A good strategy needs clear goals (no more than 3), documented specific ideal audience avatars, a clear tight message, content pillars and an understanding of the different platform purposes. If you don't have these, this is where I recommend you start ASAP.
